Dave has a wide knowledge of the building industry after sitting his apprenticeship in building and then moving into sales of various products within the industry.
He is skilled at solving problems in a cost effective, customer first, manner. If your problem requires a replacement door, Dave can advise you on current styles and colours and assist you in getting the right door for your property.
Dave has a focus on building strong long term customer relationships and a lot of our business comes from referrals from past customers & people Dave has worked with within the industry.
Ian
Ian is a qualified Tradesman.
He has more than 20 years experience in repairing and installing garage doors. His “what is best for the customer” ethic ensures customers get the best solution to their garage door problem.
Ian has an extensive knowledge of all garage door and motor brands and his time in the industry means there is not a problem he and his team cannot solve.
Ian leads a team of qualified repair and installation specialists, they focus on a fast and high quality repair with good practical advice. They arrive at your home with a full inventory of motors, remotes and parts ensuring most problems can be fixed there and then.
Shaun
Shaun has had successful career in the automotive industry with extensive experience installing high end workshop equipment and further in sales.
A local man, he is passionate about providing to the best service to our area. Shaun will service all makes of Garage Doors and if needed, install our quality range of Doors and accessories.

Marjorie is the GDS point of contact for all customers and suppliers. Marjorie offers support to the technicians and works closely with the sales team.
She has worked in the building industry for almost 10 years and is passionate about delivering service excellence.
Damien
Damien manages and is a shareholder in the Kiwi owned Kaikaha Group that includes Garage Door Solutions.
GDS proudly sells and services the market leading NZ made Dominator brand of Garage Doors.
Damien’s background has been within multiple technical sales and senior management roles in large Global Multinationals within the oil and ingredient distribution industries.
Damien has a passion for providing a quality customer experience when dealing with GDS, and enjoys nothing better that helping a customer resolve an issue with their door or equipment.
